Planning Picture Day

Use these fun, customizable picture day reminders to help promote your upcoming picture day in your newsletter, emails, or even on your social media pages!

We use the contact information from your rosters to communicate directly with parents about their child’s picture day and portrait galleries. Student details help us create private galleries for each child, along with printed materials that guide parents to their child’s pictures. Without your rosters, we cannot proceed with school pictures, so it’s crucial to submit them before the deadline!

Rosters must be submitted at least three weeks before picture day. The preferred format for submission is an Excel spreadsheet (.xls or .xlsx). No worries! Our photographers can easily add new or missed students on picture day. Just provide the child’s name, class, and a parent’s cell phone number and email address.

Nope! We do not charge your school a thing to come out for Picture Day. In fact, it’s the opposite—we donate a percentage of our sales right back to your school!

We need a 15’ x 15’ square space to accommodate our equipment and ensure that children can easily get on and off the set with ample room to move comfortably.

Yes! We offer two distinct styles for class pictures. The traditional portrait style, where all students gather for a group photo, and our popular composite style, which assembles individual portraits into a seamless class image. The composite option is especially favored because it ensures that every student is included, even if they miss the scheduled group photo.

NO! We strongly believe that every parent should see the images they’re purchasing before making a decision! That’s why we provide a private online gallery of your child’s photos, along with a variety of package options—so you can choose exactly what you want and nothing you don’t.

Yes! We proudly donate 10% of our initial sales back to your center as a token of our appreciation for welcoming us into your space and allowing us to work with your wonderful kiddos. This also makes picture day a fantastic fundraising opportunity for your center!

We proudly serve a large portion of Southern California, including (but not limited to) Riverside County, Orange County, San Bernardino County, and Palm Desert. If you don’t see your location listed, give us a call—we may still be able to reach you!

Yes, we do require your center to have a minimum enrollment of 35 non-school-age students in order to schedule a picture day.

We provide a variety of services tailored to fit each school’s unique needs. Since every school is different, we’re happy to customize our offerings to best support you. Just let us know what you’re looking for!

Some of the most common complimentary items we provide include: class pictures, staff headshots, staff ID cards, printed and digital staff pictures, as well as digital yearbook images for our DIY schools. 

On Picture Day

Absolutely! We’re pleased to offer a 40% discount for the children of your center’s staff as a token of our appreciation for their support on picture day.

Yes! If a parent is available to assist throughout the entire picture day process, we offer them a discount on their child’s portrait package!

While individual student portraits are our top priority on picture day, we also provide an optional sibling sign-up sheet in your confirmation kit. If you’d like to offer this option to parents, simply post the sign-up sheet next to your picture day poster and invite parents to sign up if they wish to participate in a sibling session. 

Please note that our backdrops are designed specifically for preschool children and may not accommodate large groups of more than four children or multiple adults in a single session. However, we do offer private sessions at our Wildomar studio, where we can create a customized experience to meet any request.

While we’re happy to accommodate small sibling sets and individual parent-child portraits (such as a “Mommy and Me”), we do not offer full family sessions on school picture day. Our backdrops are not large enough, and the time required to capture high-quality family portraits is beyond what we can provide on a day dedicated to school photography. However, we do offer private sessions at our studio in Wildomar, where we can create a customized experience to meet your specific needs. Feel free to reach out to schedule a session tailored just for you!

Each season, we offer schools the option of selecting either a scenic or a traditional backdrop. Once a choice is made, that will be the only backdrop used for your school’s picture day. To help parents plan their child’s outfit accordingly, the posters you receive three weeks before picture day will feature images of the selected backdrop. During picture day, we capture 3–6 poses of each child, ensuring parents have a variety of options to choose from.

We typically photograph up to 80 students before nap time. If your center has more than 80 enrolled, we can schedule additional days to ensure a relaxed, enjoyable experience for each child and capture the best possible images!

After Picture Day

Your students’ private online galleries will be accessible to their parents 24 hours after your school’s final picture day. The exact date and time will be provided on the children’s proof sheets and a small poster that we will distribute on picture day.

Using the information on the class rosters you provided before picture day, we generate a personalized text and email with a direct link to each child’s private online gallery. Additionally, parents can access the gallery here or by scanning the QR code printed on their child’s proof.

We offer free shipping for one week after Picture Day! During this time, we consolidate all orders and ship them in bulk directly to your center, making it easier for parents to purchase and save on shipping costs. Don’t miss out—this special offer is available for one week only!

Yes! After the one-week free shipping period ends, customers can still access and make purchases from their child’s gallery. However, they will need to provide a shipping address and pay a shipping fee.

Portrait packages will be delivered to your center within 3 to 4 weeks after the coupon code expiration date.

Every portrait package delivered to your center has already been fully paid for, so all that’s left for you to do is distribute them and enjoy the excitement!
