Planning Picture Day
Your school will have posters showcasing the backdrop we will be using, along with your schools picture day.
NO! We believe you should see your child’s images BEFORE buying them! After picture day, you will receive a private online gallery of your child’s photos with multiple package options so you can pick your poses and only buy what you want!
Take a look at the posters found at your school to see which backdrop we will be using to start the ideas flowing. Your child’s photos look best when wearing something that compliments their personality. Do you have a curious little guy who’s always eager to learn new things? How about a bow tie?! Is your daughter into all things sparkly and pink? Embrace those frills! Have a little tomboy on your hands always roughhousing with her big brothers? Maybe her favorite color top, denim overalls, and chucks are right for her! You get the idea. We encourage details, stripes and patterns are great. Accessories like hats and cute jackets, yes, please! We do advise staying away from neon, shirts with lots of text or big images on them as it can be distracting and take focus away from your adorable kiddo.
We have a limited amount of time to spend with each child, and our goal is to make that time as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. This helps us capture their best expressions! While a full outfit change often isn’t feasible, we encourage you to send accessories like hats or cute jackets—absolutely! We frequently take photos with and without these accessories, giving you more options when ordering. If you’d like a particular accessory included in your child’s portrait, please let the photographer or your child’s teacher know.
Does your child have a cherished object they can’t go without—a beloved stuffed animal, perhaps, with a little wear and tear, like a single remaining eye? We’d love to help you capture that special memory! Please ensure the item is small enough to be handheld, and let the photographer or your child’s teacher know in advance if you’d like it included in their portrait.
Some of our schools offer the option of sibling photo sessions on Picture Day. To find out if your school is participating, please check with your director. If available, make sure to add your children’s names to the sibling sign-up list, as only those listed will have sibling photos taken.
If your school offers sibling sessions, we can accommodate small sibling groups of up to three children. Please note that we do not provide full family sessions on school picture day. Our backdrops are not large enough, and the time required to capture high-quality family portraits would take away from our focus on school photography. However, we invite you to visit our studio in Wildomar, where we offer private sessions tailored to your specific needs. Let us help you design a session that’s perfect for your family!
On Picture Day
We have found that children tend to have the best experience when they’re surrounded by their peers, all sharing the excitement of picture day together! Our photographers are highly skilled in working with young children and can typically bring even the shyest child out of their shell. For this reason, we recommend dressing your child and bringing them to school as you would on any typical day, ready for their photo session.
Rest assured, there will be no payment required on picture day! We believe you should have the chance to view your child’s photos before making any purchase. After picture day, you’ll receive a private online gallery where you can browse multiple package options, select your favorite poses, and only purchase what you truly want!
We provide a single backdrop selected by your school prior to picture day and deliver posters showcasing examples of that backdrop to your school three weeks in advance. This gives you ample time to choose the perfect outfit to complement the backdrop! Each child will have 3-6 unique poses featured in their private online gallery.
Our sessions are designed to be as flexible as needed. Sometimes, they last just 30 seconds for our energetic little friends with short attention spans, while other times, they extend up to five minutes for kiddos who need a moment to warm up and shine. We’re incredibly fortunate to have a team of talented photographers dedicated to creating a positive, confidence-boosting experience for every child!
After Picture Day
Your child’s private online gallery will be available 24 hours after your schools last picture day.
Based on the information provided by your school before picture day, we will send you an email and/or text with a direct link to your child’s portrait gallery as soon as it is available. Additionally, your school will provide a 4×6 proof featuring a scannable QR code that will take you directly to the gallery.
Each time a child participates in multiple portrait sessions, a new gallery is created for each session. For example, if your child has both a spring session and a cap-and-gown graduation session, they will have two separate galleries. Similarly, if your children have individual sessions as well as a sibling session, you will receive three galleries—one for each child’s individual session and one for their sibling session.
Images from multiple galleries cannot be combined into a single package. However, we offer a variety of ordering options, including our à la carte section, where you can purchase individual images without the need to buy a package first—allowing you to select exactly what you want.

After the one-week free shipping period ends, your gallery will still be able to access and make purchases. Simply provide us with a shipping address and cover the applicable shipping fee.
If you place an order during the one-week free shipping promotion, your portrait packages will be delivered to the school approximately 3–4 weeks after the coupon expires. If you order after the promotion ends, your portraits will be shipped to the address provided at checkout within 3–4 weeks of receiving your order.
