BEFORE Picture Day
- A picture day coordinator will call you a couple weeks before picture day. During this call they will confirm your date, go over enrollment, help create a schedule and discuss any questions or concerns.
- Sending us your rosters and parent information is crucial for a successful picture day. We will need these emailed to us at least 2 weeks prior.
- You will receive a picture day kit that includes everything you need for a successful picture day such as: posters to display, information for parents, and a sibling signup sheet.
- 3 days before picture day your families will receive an email and text with sample pictures and important information regarding picture day.
ON Picture Day
- Team Sunshine will arrive at your studio an hour before the start of pictures to set up. During this time we will have a brief meeting with the coordinator to make sure it will be a smooth and successful picture day.
- We’ll seamlessly capture all dancers, groups, and staff during their scheduled time—making sure everyone gets the perfect shot while keeping things fun and efficient!
- Our amazing photographers know just how to make your dancers feel confident and pumped up to step in front of the camera. It’s the perfect moment for them to strut their stuff and show off any cool moves they’ve got!
- Our passion for what we do enables us to be flexible and adapt to any unforeseen circumstances. Our team is on-site to provide you with the best experience possible.
AFTER Picture Day
- Galleries will be online 1-2 days after picture day. Parents will receive a link to their private gallery via text & email using the information that was provided before picture day.
- Parents will be able to view their portraits and place an order online. We have a variety of different printed and digital products designed to fit every budget.
- All orders placed within the first week of picture day will receive a discount code and free shipping. Those orders will be delivered to the school in 3-4 weeks.
- Saved the best for last! Monetary donations from the first week of picture day sales are sent directly to your studio.
WHEN WE PHOTOGRAPH
We schedule our photo days at the perfect time—just after your costumes arrive and before your recital performance! Most of our studios participate in two photo days each year, one in winter and one in summer, with some even adding an extra session exclusively for competition kids.

Group Portraits
We kindly ask that each dancer attend their class’s scheduled session time to ensure they’re included in the group photo, even if they’re not taking individual portraits.

24 hours after picture day, families will be emailed & texted a link to access their private online galleries.
